FAQ's

What is a Lab Created Diamond?

Lab created diamonds are man-made in a controlled laboratory environment and have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties of mined diamonds, without the need to excavate the precious crystals from the Earth. To the naked eye, lab created diamonds are undiscernible from mined diamonds.  Any difference can only be detected using highly specialized equipment.  Love Earth diamonds are created using a patented Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) or High-Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) Process.

Is Love Earth ethically sourced?

Yes. Love Earth is committed to responsible and ethical sourcing. All materials are sourced by Frederick Goldman, Inc. who is a certified member of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC). The RJC is a standard-setting organization that has been established to advance responsible ethical human rights, social and environmental practices throughout the supply chain.

What are the benefits of buying a Love Earth Lab Created Diamond vs a mined diamond?

Since lab created diamonds are not excavated from the earth, they provide a powerful alternative in a world sensitive to the social, ecological, and economic issues related to diamond mining.  Love Earth is committed to providing the best quality, with all the jewelry in our collection featuring lab created diamonds with DEF color and ranging from colorless to near colorless –with a clarity of VS1/VS2 through SI1/SI2. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and creating a wonderful diamond buying experience for our customers.
